You hear about problems in our communities all the time. Some people blame the government, while others argue that the people can change the communities. I strongly feel that the responsibility of solving problems in any community should go to both the government and the people.

There are problems that our government can solve, that the people can’t. Such problems include: messed up roads, low-budget schools, and crime. Problems like these can destroy a community by making it an unsafe place to live. This is why the government should help because the people in the government face these problems too.

The people complain about trash and bushes covering an intersection. These problems can be solved by everyone doing some community service and taking action. The government can solve these problems but they don’t have to. People as a community can better their community. With the work of the people and the government, our communities wouldn’t have many problems.
